The biotechnological department carries out:

• directed rearing of replacement bulls
• selection and evaluation of the development, exterior, quality of sperm production of replacement bulls
• determination of the breeding value of producers of farm animals.
• obtaining, accumulating and storing semen from high-value sires using Minitube equipment
• providing farms, the entire area of ​​the enterprise with high-quality sperm, liquid nitrogen, equipment for artificial insemination.
• providing methodological assistance to breeding farms in the implementation of plans for selection and breeding work on breeding highly productive animals.
• production and selection of sperm according to quality indicators, including bacterial contamination
• storage of semen in vaults during the evaluation of bulls with quality control
• sale of semen of quality-assessed and genome-assessed bulls of producers in the farms of the region in accordance with the linear use plan
• veterinary control over the health of animals at the breeding enterprise in order to prevent various infectious diseases
• organizing and meeting the needs of bulls in feed of their own production, drawing up balanced and individual feeding rations based on the results of the analyzes of feed and blood.
